Futures Trading for Beginners

If you are a beginner to the futures markets you've come to the right place.   Since futures trading is often so confusing to beginners I have compiled a short course on the basics to get you started.  For those that are familiar with stocks, it's often best to forget what you know about those markets, because futures instruments are fundamentally different.

I don't pretend that this course will provide you with all of the knowledge and information that you need in order to trade futures successfully.  There is a great deal of learning needed for all would-be traders.  I am simply aiming at providing a general introduction to the basic principles of commodity futures markets.  So, this course is a good place for absolute beginners to start. 

At the end I will also point you towards some good resources for furthering your education.  There can be no doubt that the road to futures trading success is long and strewn with difficulties, but the opportunity is certainly there for those that have the desire and discipline to take up the challenge by learning as much as possible.
